พันธุ์ไม้และสัตว์ป่า เนื่องจากสภาพป่ามีทั้งป่าเบญจพรรณ ป่าเต็งรัง ป่าดงดิบแล้ง ป่าดงดิบเขาและป่าสนเขา จึงมีพันธุ์ไม้แตกต่างกันหลายชนิด เช่น ไม้สัก ยาง ประดู่ แดง ตะเคียน ยมหอม มะค่าโมง มะเกลือ ขะเจ๊าะ เก็ดดำ เก็ดแดง รกฟ้า อินทนิล กะบาก จำปีป่า สารภีป่า แคหิน เหียง พลวง เต็ง รัง และ ไม้สนเขา หรือเกี๊ยะ เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ยังมีไม้ตระกูลก่อต่าง ๆ ไม้พื้นล่างที่สำคัญมี ไม้ไผ่ พวกปาล์ม และพวกเฟิร์น
