จุดเด่น 1.เจดีย์ประธาน ทรงระฆังศิลปะแบบพม่าฐานเจดีย์ทำย่อมุมประดับประดาด้วยเจดีย์องค์เล็ก ส่วนองค์เจดีย์มีสีทองลักษณะคล้ายกับเจดีย์ชเวดากอง ของพม่า ตามมุมทั้ง 4 จะมีปูนปั้นรูปสิงห์ตั้งอยู่2. พระวิหาร เป็นของเก่าซึ่งรื้อมาจากพระตำหนักของพระเจ้ากาวิโลรสสุริยวงค์ หน้าบันตกแต่งด้วยลายก้านขด ปิดทองสวยงามเหลืองอร่ามแม้จะผ่านกาลเวลามายาวนานแล้วก็ตาม
3. กุฏิเจ้าอาวาส มีการผสมผสานระหว่างสถาปัตยกรรมยุโรปตรงชั้นล่างซึ่งทำด้วยคอนกรีต และล้านนาตรงส่วนบนซึ่งตกแต่งด้วยลวดลายไม้ฉลุสวยงามมาก
ความเป็นมา วัดแห่งนี้พญาแสนภูกษัตรย์องค์ที่ 3 แห่งราชวงศ์ มังราย โปรดเกล้า ให้สร้างขึ้นและได้รับการบูรณะใหม่ โดยหลวงและบูรณะวัดเก่าในเชียงใหม่จนได้รับพระราชทานบรรดาศักดิ์เป็นหลวงโยนการพิจิตรวัดแสนฝางแห่งนี้จึงมีการผสมผสานศิลปะหลายแบบ
